this custom built outdoor kitchen is on the 4th story of a building in fort lauderdale which is also the rooftop.  The coral stone on the walls of the outdoor kitchen grill island hides the conduit running plumbing and electrical.  The coral stone panels are very popular in florida and the granite counter top is practically weather proof.  Built in bbq grill by Solaire is infrared.  Infrared gas grills can reach 1000 degree temperatures in sixty seconds.  This gas barbeque grill is perfect for searing in moisture and flavor in steaks, burgers and fish steak filets.  Below the gas grill is a built in combination door/drawer.  The combination access door has a door on the left for access to a gas tank or gas valve and utility drawers on the right side.  304 stainless steel ice machine is UL rated for outdoor use in any weather.  we also installed a built in refrigerator that is not UL rated for outdoor but is well protected under the gazebo and within the bbq grill island.  Under mount sink is attached to the bottom of the granite with a single door for access.  This is a beautiful custom built in outdoor kitchen grill island.

Ducane gas BBQ grills and barbecue grill replacement parts.

It was in the mid 70s that The Ducane Company entered the market with its gas bbq grills since the company was previously into manufacturing hot air furnaces. The company was established in 1946 as Ducane Brothers Metal Fabricating and later changed its name to The Ducane Company.

The company’s gas bbq grills soon caught the fancy of the American public as well as rival company Weber-Stephen Products Co. that took over Ducane in 2004. By that time Ducane was in trouble and owed its creditors around 16 million dollars. Even though Weber-Stephen took over the company it did not restart operations in South Carolina but instead closed down that plant and shifted production overseas to China from where Ducane is imported into the USA. Weber-Stephen also decided to dishonor the lifetime warranty offered by Ducane on its products and this caused hardships to many existing customers that required replacement parts after many years of using Ducane products.

Currently, there are several gas bbq grill models offered by Ducane. The Ducane Affinity 3100 is a 3 burner gas bbq grill. This grill has an electronic ignition and built in hood thermometer to ensure safe and precise cooking.  If you want a slightly larger model then you can opt for the Affinity 4100 – 4 burner model. You can cook over a larger 526 sq. inch area while utilizing the 167 sq. inch warming rack to keep cooked and grilled food warm.

The earlier Affinity 3200 model with the side burner is now discontinued.  However, Ducane bbq grill replacement parts are available. Replacement grill parts are available for earlier grills discontinued by Weber like the Ducane Meridian 5 burner model.  Most of the “new” Ducane grills use the same gas burners and heat shields but cooking grates, ignition kits and structural parts are also available.

Ducane gas barbeque grill parts for the original barbecues made by the Ducane family are no longer made by either Ducane or the new Weber Ducane.  However the Ducane gas grill replacement parts for the original models and the models created since Weber bought the company are available and are often better quality then the original grill parts.

Although Ducane has seen tough times, their current models of gas bbq grills offer excellent value for money.  The Ducane family were industry giants even before they began making barbecues.  The Ducane burner design, wide, convex cooking grate, ignition and rotisserie burner design were all leading innovations in the backyard design grilling industry.  The decision to purchase the company was certainly based on the high standard reputation that lent equity to the Ducane name and brand.  While the current barbecues that bear their name are not the level of quality established by the original BBQ grills, the current 3100 or 4100 series models are inexpensive and the legendary Weber warranty, although shortened for the Ducane barbecues does still apply.

Ventless Gas Fireplace Logs and Vent Free Alternative Fireplaces

Gas logs for fireplaces come in two variations: vented and vent-free. Vented gas fireplaces burn wood, coal or either natural gas or liquid propane. A ventless gas fireplace burns without ventilation. There are no harmful gases like carbon monoxide produced by burning wood which makes vent-less types of fireplaces environment friendly and health friendly. The heat provided by the vent-less gas logs is specifically engineered to provide warmth and significantly minimizing the gasses that may be harmful to our health.

Vent-less gas logs have an amazing feature which automatically turns the gas off upon detecting a significant increase in carbon monoxide in a certain room. This is called the ODS also known as the Oxygen Depletion Sensors. Apart from which, vent-less gas fireplaces used logs, shapes, fire glasses, or fire balls, that are permanently position so it would only light the flame on a certain area. This helps the flame light on a specific location avoiding the other solid objects to not actually burn them. To lower the release of carbon for unvented gas fireplaces, the BTU is rated below 40,000. Thermocouple controls the gas valve to avoid any gas leak opening and closing the valve whenever it is necessary.

Installing an unvented gas fireplace with a vent-free firebox is usually the safest and easiest method rather than installing a vent-less gas fireplace logs in a stone-made fireplace. Vent-free firebox keeps the heat and the gas insulated inside.  The insulation keeps the heat intact on a certain area so the wall, wood decors, and other combustible materials are safe inside. The interior of these boxes are usually lined with refractive stones and some of which are designed in flat black or in stainless steel.

Not only that these vent-less gas logs are easy to install, they actually don’t cost a fortune in installing one. They are more functional and more pleasing to the eye. Not to mention that they are not difficult to clean compared to the traditional fireplaces. Those houses that have experience storms and things similar to that effect might have damaged their chimney outlets. Repairing damage chimney flues may cost a lot and remains vulnerable for upcoming natural climate changes. This is one of the reasons why vent-less gas logs are convenient and reliable because it doesn’t require any outlet for a chimney.

To control the flow of gas, this vent-less fireplaces uses a control valve hidden through the logs. Some people makes it more appealing by placing a vent-less fireplace burners that has glowing sparks over tall flames with a smaller slope burner in front of it. Since these vent-less gas fireplace burners are legitimately limited to 40,000 BTU, it is possible to lessen the intensity of the flame whenever the user finds it necessary.

The size of the unvented burners plays around 18 to 20 inches and definitely looks outstanding at those sizes. Control valves can be manually operated. However, there are control valves may be similar to that of in a barbecue grill. There are also types of control valve that has remote control which enables the user to increase and decrease its intensity as well as turning it on and off.

Some places have laws and building codes that wouldn’t allow chimneys to be build. By having a vent-less gas log fireplace kits, fireplaces can be installed indoors without the worry of violating local government ordinances. This is also the best resolution if chimney flues are badly damaged due to weather and would cost too much to repair.

Because of innovation and great amount of time invested in studying traditional fireplace replacements, we are now able to use vent-less gas fireplaces that can give us the comfort and coziness of fire without the harmful pollutants. Not to mention that these vent-less fireplaces are very easy to maintain. One must not need to worry about the dust and stains that a regular fireplace fire may leave. The materials that were used to mimic the actual look of real wood logs are steel which will not require the user to feed more logs to it. There are other unvented fireplaces that uses cannon balls while others uses crushed glass to let the flame sway.

Overall, these modern designs in fireplaces give additional exquisiteness to a contemporary room. Vent-less gas fireplaces are the excellent choice to deliver beauty in the whole room.

Weber grills

Weber grills and barbecues
barbecues as we know them allstarted with a Spark of Inspiration
It was way back not long after the World war two had ended,
That the hankering for good barbecue lit a fire under George Stephen.
how at this time was a employee of a Metal Works just outside of Chicago,
George welded metal buoys for the Coast Guard.
But that’s not all he did: George loved to grill. With with a growing family at home, he found it the perfect way to relax, but couldn’t
find a grill on the market that lived up to his high expectations.
But the most popular grill of the day was a flat open brazier
a product George found woefully under-engineered.

He knew there had to be a better way to barbecue.
One day, George was about to weld two buoy halves together when the idea hit: Why not use the bottom half for the cooking bowl, and the top half for the lid to create a grill? Piece by piece, his vision started coming together. He then added a handle and three legs and took hiscrazy-looking contraption home to test.

But As the story goes, when George first tried out his prototype, it didn’t work quite as hoped. No matter how hard he tried, it just wouldn’t stay lit.     but a neighbor peering over the back fence offered a little friendly advice, “Poke some holes in that thing so the fire can get some air!” well George did, and the flames of invention could finally keep burning.

Have Kettle, Will Travel
after that, all of George’s neighbors gathered around to enjoy a taste of the best steak they ever had in their lives. George figured he was really on to something, so he packed up his grill andthen it was time for,
“George’s Barbecue  and hit the road, demonstrating his funny looking creation at  hardware stores across the country. And the rest, as they say, is history.
